In general: A symbol for the sudden, lighting idea - for the flash of thought, that 'hits' like a meteor. In the traditional interpretation the meteor was valid as the sky messenger who can show the dreamer to the way for the ecclesiastical appeal, to the enlightenment. Psychologically: Like shooting stars the meteors symbolise flashing the thoughts which free us. They point to the mind which we should use resolutely if to us something serious opposes.
